to Jack's Website. Here you will find information about the books, excerpts from the first book, photos, and links to
Navy and destroyer historic sites. The second book, PAPER DRAGON, WOODEN SHIP is now published. Both book I and book
II are available through buybooksontheweb.com. As of March 1, 2010 the third book, "Breath of the Choson Dragon"
was published and is available through Amazon.com. In December 2010 Jack's non-fiction book ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT:
An Irreverent Primer was published. See the "Other Books" page.

Dragon and Paper
Dragon, Wooden Ship have been awarded medals in the 2010 Military Writer's Society of America Awards
Competition. Breath of the Choson Dragon received the GOLD MEDAL in the Mystery/Thriller category and Paper
Dragon, Wooden Ship received the BRONZE MEDAL in the US Navy category. The society consists of 900 members
who concentrate their writing on military topics. Awards were given out October 2, 2010 at the annual convention - in
Pittsburg, PA. This is quite an honor to have two books selected as finalists and have both win an award and I am grateful
to the officers and staff of MWSA for the recognition. Another flash! Breath of the Choson Dragon was also
selected for a SILVER MEDAL in the fiction category by the 2010 Branson Veteran's Week Stars and Flags Book Awards.
